Ozotic 914

I finally managed to get my hands on my very first Ozotic and ohhhh..... it is good!

It is a gorgeous shade of dark blue with scattered holographic particles that shines and sparkles like the night sky. The scattered holographic effect is very strong, I just wish I had any sort of sunlight to show this in. I imagine it will be marvelous.

I paired it up with my new Pylones ring with some sort of bright pink fluff in it. I bought this one in Pylones in Berlin. I actually have a few variations of these rings with both beads and liquids inside, I really love them!

I bought Ozotic 914 from Norway Nails who recently had a free shipping offer.
Ozotics are also available from Ninja PolishLlarowe and Overall Beauty.

P2 Sand Style skittles

On my recent trip to Berlin, I bought a LOT of polish - you can see the haul picture on my Facebook page. I bought vast amounts of Kiko, Flormar, Essence, Catrice and not least P2. I liked the look of their new sand style polishes, and actually decided to get 5 of the 6 in this collection.

I couldn't possibly choose between these, so I decided to do a skittle manicure with them.

From top to bottom:
020 Lovesome
040 Illegal
030 Seductive
060 Strict
050 Confidential

I think my current favourite is Strict, it's very sparkly and ready to party!

These all have shiny glitters and I found that they dried a fair bit faster than the OPI Liquid Sands, but as I haven't done a side by side comparison I can't be sure it's not just be my perception.

Foxy Paws: Black or White

Today I have another fun polish from The Foxy Paws 90s collection to show, this time it is a black and white glitter, but with a twist. This one changes colour according to temperature!

Here is one coat over OPI Ski Teal We Drop, Essence Upper Green Side, alone and over Nubar Barricade.

As a colour changing polish this is a lot of fun. I like the transparent look as it is most of the time when my hands are nice and warm, just with a slight dusty tinge. But get it in the snow or near a tap, and the fun begins. It was so much fun, I had to make a GIF!

My hands were warm as I was doing this, so it turned back to transparent quite fast, but when I was outside without gloves earlier (brrrrr!) it stayed quite dark.

This polish is named after a Michael Jackson song, and I have to note - once again - that my version of the musical 90s is quite different from the kind people at Foxy Paws. In my version of the 90s this would for sure have been called Black Hole Sun. The 90s were AWESOME!!

Beside the colour changing fun, this is also a very pretty black and white glitter. Black and white glitter has been a classic since Lynnderella connected the dots, and every indie label has since released their version of the theme and the big brands like China Glaze and Lloreal are now also jumping on the bandwagon.

I decided to dig into my Alex to find a couple to compare with, and this is what I found:

Foxy Paws Black or White, Dandy Nails Colorblind2, Cover Band Sticks 'n Stones and Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz!
All swatched with one coat over Catrice It's All I Can Blue

Foxy Paws and Dollish Polish are probably my favourites, as they have a variation of glitter sizes and no bar glitter. They also spread evenly, where the two others had A LOT of glitter in just one coat, and needed a fair bit of dabbing. Which black and white glitter is your favourite?

You can buy Foxy Paws from either Foxy Fingertips (Europe) or Foxy Paws (outside Europe)

Foxy Paws: I'm Blue swatches

Today I have a beautiful blue holographic polish from Danish brand Foxy Paws:

Foxy Paws is a spinoff brand from the Danish WellNails line, and has a musical theme. I'm Blue is from the 90's collection, and I'm sure anyone who knows this song will now have 'la-ba-dee' stuck in their heads for the foreseeable future. Sorry about that!

For those who doesn't know the song, listen at your own risk:

It's a lovely deep royal blue with a scattered holographic effect. It is opaque in two coats, and has a good consistency to work with. The holo effect is beautiful and also noticeable out of the sun. I would love to show you this polish in bright daylight, but the best I could do was slightly dull sunlight(ish).

Now I grew up in a very different 90's from the one the sweet people behind Foxy Paws did. My 90's were filled with lovely grunge and I would probably have named this beautiful polish something like Bullet With Butterfly Wings or Interstate Love Song. But I have to agree that I'm Blue is a perfect name for this polish because it is just that: Blue. A gorgeous lovely deep dark bright royal blue.

It is no secret that I love blue more than any other colour of nail polish. As I am also a huge holo fan, it is no surprise to anyone that I have A LOT of blue holos. Still, I was a little bit surprised at how much of a lot of them I have!

14 different blue holos, and I'm Blue (at the far right) still stands out with it's deep saturated colour as being very different from any of the others. I really have no others in such a rich, bright blue. It has jumped in as what is now probably my favourite blue holo of the bunch!

Just please don't tell the others - I like to pretend I don't have favourites!

Just look at that! An instant must-have for any blue holo lover such as myself.

And as it happens, Foxy Paws is having a giveaway for this very polish right now1 Check it out on their  Facebook page: Foxy Paws

You can buy Foxy Paws from either Foxy Fingertips (Europe) or Foxy Paws (outside Europe)

Stamping for spring

Spring is just around the corner, and my mind and nails have been going pastel crazy lately. I just received this bottle of Flormar 446, that I bought it from a shop in bulgaria, called Beauty Cosmetic. It took quite a while, the wrapping was questionable and a couple of the polishes did not look quite new. I did not understand any of the communication from them as it was in what I assume to be bulgarian, but it was really cheap and it arrived!

And this specific Flormar just had me floored! It is a perfect pastel periwinkle, and it covers perfectly in just one coat. I'm not gonna lie - I shrieked!

With all this shrieking going on, I didn't get a picture of the polish alone, but here it is stamped with DRK-B and Sally Hansen Whirlwind White:

I love matte pastels, I think they look like sugar candy so I had to finish this off with a coat of Hard Candy Matte-ly in love

I really like this mani both shiny and matte!
